On Thursday afternoon Sawang Boriboon Rescue volunteers and local police were called to a rented room above a bar in Soi 9 off Jomtien Beach Road to investigate a foreign fatality at the location.
            Inside the room they discovered the body of a Caucasian male aged approximately 55 and 60. The man had been dead for a few hours before his body was discovered. A search of his belongings uncovered a couple of Visa cards, one of which had been issued by the Natwest bank of Britain. As of this report going to press there are no further details as to the man’s identity.
There were no signs of foul play and it appears as if the deceased died of natural causes. People who knew the deceased said he was in the habit of drinking a lot of alcohol on daily basis and was hardly a picture of rude health. A post mortem will likely take place to determine the precise cause of death.
